Last night we looked down, and Mary Joyce had arranged Katherine's, Chet's, and her own tennis shoes exactly like this. This is such a typical Mary Joyce thing to do.:

Ohmigosh!!! Lining up the shoes like that is SO similar to the stuff that Josie does. She started it at a very age (with her blocks before she could even crawl) and still continues it to this day with things like headbands, hair ties, books, stuff animals... anything that can be sorted and/or categorized by size, color, shape. It is amazing to see organizational skills like that in such a young mind!

Hmmm...baby's rooom...Well, we're still waiting on them to start making progress on the addition to the house. He is going to be in the bassinet in our room at the beginning anyway, but it would be nice to be able to get the house situated beforehand. I'm not sure that will happen, though. So, for now, we're collecting things for his room and storing them, and we've got to go on and get Mary Joyce a real bed soon. (That's the short version.)
The shoes photo is TOO funny. Ting Ting always puts her shoes right next to her Daddy's at night, lined up exactly like his . .. except in miniature . .. and pink.
