First Half of Spring Break 2011

We're having a great Spring Break so far! Here are some pictures from the first part of the week. The girls' break actually started last Friday, and these pictures are Friday through Wednesday.

Crazy Hat Day

I almost forgot to post this one. Friday was "Crazy Hat Day." Mary Joyce was being pouty because I made her quit coloring so we could snap a quick picture, and then leave for school.

Funny Clothes Day

Today is "Funny Clothes Day." I think this picture speaks for itself. :-)

Silly Sock Day

Today was "Silly Sock Day" at preschool. The girls got to wear their Lightning McQueen socks, so they were very happy.

Dr. Seuss Character Day

Today is "Dr. Seuss Character Day" at the girls' school. Mary Joyce is dressed as "Velma Vera Vin & her Violet Violin" from Dr. Seuss's ABC. The book character actually has bright yellow hair, but we didn't have a way to do that, so we went with a bright yellow bow instead. Katherine is actually representing the book Dr. Seuss's ABC by wearing her alphabet shirt. I had something else in mind, but she was absolutely not into the costume idea. This seemed like a good compromise.
