10 Months Old!

Malcom is now 10 months old. He is crawling everywhere, and has already discovered how to go into his sisters' room and get into their toys. Right now, he is teething like crazy--6 new ones coming in, for a grand total of 8 teeth. And still, he is all smiles. Happy 10 months, Baby Boy!

Bowling

Last weekend, we went bowling with the young adult Sunday School class from our church. This was the first time the girls had been bowling. Mary Joyce had a ball, Katherine liked it okay for awhile but got tired of it because she couldn't do it by herself. Malcom had a great time hanging out with everyone, and smiled the whole time.

Chinese New Year 2010

This past Saturday, we had our local Chinese New Year gathering for adoptive families. Here are a few pictures to share:

We sat Katherine up on this tall chair to watch the talent show, and I'm not sure if the look on her face is about the chair or about Mr. David sitting behind her. Either way, it was hilarious.

Collage Fun

A couple of birthdays ago, Chet's mom got this collage set for Mary Joyce. I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but we just never got around to doing anything with it until this weekend when we pulled it out, and the girls had a ball decorating their animals. Mary Joyce chose the pig, and Katherine picked out the cow. They turned out really cute, and now have a place of honor on the refrigerator.

Growing Too Fast!

Malcom has been growing up so much lately, as babies tend to do. He still isn't crawling, but he can get up on all fours. He just rolls and pushes himself backwards to get where he wants to go. He is also able to stand up with some help. He's already all over the place, so I can only imagine how it will be when he actually starts crawling and then walking!

At the Park

We went to the park a couple of weekends ago for a birthday party for one of Mary Joyce's preschool friends. The girls had a ball, as usual...

Malcom and Chloe

Chloe the cat loves all of the kids, but she especially seems to love babies. She will intentionally plant herself right next to Malcom as often as she is able. The other night, we even caught her sitting in his lap. She got there herself, with no assistance from anyone in the house. Too cute!

And, Malcom has his own room (and has for awhile). This was the girls' old bedroom, and since they have moved into the larger room, I'm trying to figure out how everything fit in this space once upon a time. For an interesting bit of construction trivia, the wall where his name is used to be an exterior wall with a window.)

New Master Bedroom & Bathroom

Again, I'm late with the pictures, but I'm finally sharing photos of our new Master Bedroom and Bathroom. These are the rooms that were brand new in the parsonage construction. We are loving the space!
