Mary Joyce was carrying around her stuffed panda yesterday and climbed into my lap with it. The panda is one of her entourage of stuffed animals that stays on her bed. We talked about the panda being black and white. Then there was the following exchange:
Me: Do you know where pandas come from?
Mary Joyce: (with a puzzled, "Well, duh, Mama..." look on her face, and pointing at her room) Bed!
So now you know...pandas come from Mary Joyce's bed.
...and I thought they came from China... :-)
