Last Monday was a good day. Chet is off on Mondays, so we are able to have some good family time on those days. Last week, we started by taking the girls to Sears to have their photos made. That is an experience with a 7 week old and a 21 month old. I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who can do job of a photographer who works with little kids. Give me 20 4 year olds in a classroom any day over having to take pictures and get little ones to cooperate. We went for lunch in the mall, and then headed back to see our pictures. As we were making our selections, both girls started to have an "I really need a nap" meltdown, so we finished and headed home.
That afternoon (after naps), we headed to a local playground, where Mary Joyce had a great time. She still doesn't care for the swings, but she likes the slides. The rocking toys were also a big hit. She really didn't want to get off of the blue whale rocking toy, but we finally had to pry her off so we could go to supper.
We finished off the day by eating at a favorite local spot. We sat outside, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. When the sun went down, we could see the moon reflecting on the water. It was absolutely beautiful. All-in-all, it was a really good day.
