French Horn Fun

Chet took out his French horn today while he was home for lunch. Mary Joyce has never seen him play, and she was absolutely fascinated. First, she looked from across the room. Then she got closer and stared in awe. She kept walking over and looking into the horn, but I wasn't fast enough to catch that one with the camera. Finally, she was brave enough to reach out and touch it. Then, onto Daddy's lap for her first attempt at playing it. No sound this time, but one of these days...

Oh that is great!! Rose and Marie will be right over with their trumpets for their first all-girl-toddler-band session. Look out neighbors. ;-)

How cute and fun!! Maybe she will take after her daddy and want to take up an instrument one day!

wouldn't it be something if Mary Joyce execelled at music? You could trace it all back to here!!

You are going to dread the day you taught her to play the horn! LOL! Oh, and Sydney has a real, mini, toddler-sized guitar... can she join the toddler band?

Our girls seem to have lots of musical talents. It will be so cute to see them all together again, singing and dancing and playing their instruments :)

Hi Dusty - Wow, both Mary Joyce and Katherine have grown so much! Mary Joyce is such a doll and it just doesn't seem like she's been home a whole year!
