New Master Bedroom & Bathroom
Again, I'm late with the pictures, but I'm finally sharing photos of our new Master Bedroom and Bathroom. These are the rooms that were brand new in the parsonage construction. We are loving the space!

Malcom is 9 Months Old!
Malcom is 9 months old today! I can hardly believe it. He is still such a happy baby and almost always has a smile. He has been teething and now has 2 teeth in on the bottom. Rolling and scooting are still his preferred methods of locomotion, although he will be crawling very soon. He was up on all fours earlier this evening, so it is only a matter of time. He has also recently started waving, which is absolutely adorable, and today is finally able to get himself into a seated position when he is lying down. His sisters absolutely adore their baby brother. :-)
The pictures are not great because it was cloudy here today, and I had to use the flash, which always makes him blink. These were the best of the bunch, though.

The Girls' "New" Bedroom
When the renovation of the parsonage was completed, the girls moved into the room that was previously the master bedroom. We finally got their names on the wall in the new room, which was the last little touch, and I made some pictures the other day. So, here is their "new" room that really isn't that new anymore. :-)

Random Photo Thread
These first 2 of Malcom standing are actually from our Christmas trip to Louisiana. I didn't realize I still had a few pictures from the trip left on the camera. He looks so pleased with himself in the second picture.

Saphirah is our cat who really doesn't like anyone except Chet. However, she has decided that Malcom must be okay, too. We think it is because he is a boy.

This child just cracks me up!

Christmas Card and Santa Photos
We are never sure how our Santa photo at the mall experience will go. Mary Joyce is fine with it. Katherine, on the other hand... The first year she was too little to know any different. Last year, she was screaming in the picture. This year, the tears tried to come, and then she just became very determined that she was NOT going for this whole scenario. Thankfully, there was a great photographer's assistant who made it her job to get Katherine to smile, and finally, she did. No, she is not looking at the camera, nor is she interacting with Santa, but she is relatively close to Santa and smiling. Malcom did great for his first time. He was inspecting Santa's [very real] beard, and seemed to be calculating how much of it he could grab in one swipe.

Since we moved here, we have wanted to do a Christmas card photo on the beach. Our first attempt, a few years ago, was a rather hilarious failure. This year, we decided to make it a family photo and have my sister take it while she was in town for Thanksgiving. It actually turned out rather well. :-)

Christmas 2009
I've included a slideshow of Christmas photos in the post below. Included are photos from Mary Joyce's preschool Christmas program, along with pictures from our Christmas morning at home and our trip to Louisiana by way of Georgia. We were able to spend Christmas night with Chet's mom, and then headed to Lousiana for time with my parents and a visit with extended family on my side. We were also able to visit with Chet's cousin's family and to meet Thomas, the newest member of our extended family.
Malcom at 8 Months
Yes, I know I'm lagging terribly behind on my blog posts, and I apologize. Here are pictures from December 21, the day Malcom turned 8 months old.

Mary Joyce is Four!
On December 16, Mary Joyce turned 4 years old. I can't believe she is that old already. We had her 4th birthday party on the Saturday before at "Old McDonald's", and the kids had a great time. (By the way, easiest.birthday.party.ever.) Then on her actual birthday, we took cookies for her preschool class. Pictures are in the post below.
