Happy St. Patrick's Day!

All 3 in Green...

Crazy Hat Day

I almost forgot to post this one. Friday was "Crazy Hat Day." Mary Joyce was being pouty because I made her quit coloring so we could snap a quick picture, and then leave for school.

Funny Clothes Day

Today is "Funny Clothes Day." I think this picture speaks for itself. :-)

Silly Sock Day

Today was "Silly Sock Day" at preschool. The girls got to wear their Lightning McQueen socks, so they were very happy.

Showing off their socks:

2 Sweet Sisters--Really can't see the socks in this one, but I thought it was worth sharing anyway.

Dr. Seuss Character Day

Today is "Dr. Seuss Character Day" at the girls' school. Mary Joyce is dressed as "Velma Vera Vin & her Violet Violin" from Dr. Seuss's ABC. The book character actually has bright yellow hair, but we didn't have a way to do that, so we went with a bright yellow bow instead. Katherine is actually representing the book Dr. Seuss's ABC by wearing her alphabet shirt. I had something else in mind, but she was absolutely not into the costume idea. This seemed like a good compromise.

Wacky Hair Day

The girls' school is celebrating Read Across America week with dress-up days, and today was "Wacky Hair Day." Katherine was home sick, but here are some pictures of Mary Joyce with her Wacky Hair.

(I will try to actually keep up with posting these each day this week.)

New Year's Day

I used this for a post on my other blog. It was easier to copy and paste than to redo the whole post from scratch, so that explains how the text is phrased.

We spent a nice, quiet New Year's Day with our family. Here's a little snapshot of the kids' day...

MJ made a library in the girls' bedroom...

K spent some time reading...

Then we watched the Rose Parade...

While watching, M planted himself in his big sister's lap for awhile...

And K waved to the riders on the floats and said, "Merry Christmas!" like she did at our local Christmas parade...

Then they got their chairs out and their flags to wave...

After lunch, we took advantage of our warm Florida temperatures and spent some time at the park...

And the girls ended the day cuddled up in the recliner, watching a football game.

All-in-all, a nice, relaxing way to start the New Year!

Mary Joyce's 5th Birthday

Oh, Wow, Am I Ever Behind...

I'm going to try to catch things up some. Sorry I've gotten so off track on posting pictures. These are from the girls' Christmas program at school.
